Noti is an unincorporated community of approximately 700 people located 17 miles West of Eugene in the foothills of the central coastal mountain range. In 1913 the post office was established and the name of the community was changed from Portola to Noti. The Swanson Brothers saw mill was built in 1937 and still operates today. The "Little Blue School" built in 1927 and operated until 2002, is a local land mark. In 1996 the Hwy 126 project re routed the highway just North of the community.
