Dexter Oregon located on highway 58 is about 18 miles southeast of Eugene Oregon. Dexter Lake and Dam which holds back the Willamette River is a popular boating and fishing site. According to the National Register of Historic Places the covered Parvin Bridge located on Dexter Lake was placed on its Register as a Bridge of Historic Places.
